Managing ADHD and Anxiety: Seeking Advice

I'm Kristen. I have ADHD. I would like to know if there is anything else I should be doing to help with my impulsive behavior as well as my anxiety. I am on Vyvanse for my ADHD. As soon as I have a stable or somewhat stable schedule for my new job I will be going back to therapy.

I don't have a lot of friends. One of my friends always seems to be busy & makes no time for me. He makes me feel like I'm always on the back burner. I do have feelings for him. But he's not making any effort to be a friend. I personally don't think he's ready for us to be friends. At all.

Therapy is great. 👍I'm a big fan. To manage my own impulsive nature, I added some extra steps that I always take before engaging something. Steps that give me time to think about whether I really want to do something or not. Like if someone asks me if I want to spend time with them, I always ask to look at my calendar. Then I try to consider whether I'm really wanting to spend time with that person and if there's room in my schedule for it. Or I might check my budget app before buying a treat. Hope that helps! 😊
