Lyrica causing adverse reactions

I tried Lyrica to manage pain, but after 3 doses I started having adverse reactions (blurred vision, headaches,eye pain). It has been a week since I stopped taking it, but I am still physically struggling with the effects of it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

How many mgs did you take? Maybe see if there's a lower dose? I take 50mgs 3xa day. I've not had those reactions from the lyrica but I did from the gabapentin. But I was on a very high dose of the gabapentin, I was ok in the beginning but they kept upping my dosage. I hope your feeling better and got the problem solved...

thank you so much! I only took 50mg. I’m finally recovered. I’m suppose to try 100 mg of gabapentin daily, but I don’t think its a good Idea after the effects of the lyrica.

No, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. Drink lots of fluid and dry to do a detox of your body by juicing veggies and some fruits. It should help you recover.

thank you! I’m finally feeling almost back to my regular self. I’m kind of reluctant to try new pain meds now though.
