Hello! I just started going to a specialist for all my autoimmune issues. One bing lyme. I am on a treatment plan that consortia of supplements made specifically for lymes. It’s caused a couple herxheimers which is encouraging! I had been on doxycycline and amoxicillin but they only made my lymes dormant. If you want, I can keep you updated on how my treatment is going! I am going to Lipton natural health improvement center
I went to an infectious disease specialist I was treated with doxycycline after a couple of months I felt much better that was late 2018 I now am newly diagnosed with SIBO which I have found out can be a complication from Lyme / autoimmune disease and / or from being on heavy duty antibiotics even years later . I’m constantly learning ! I just keep getting help and having hope . If a doctor brushes me off they’re fired to me and I find a new physician I know that’s not always possible but if you think the doctor isn’t attending to what you need if possible I would look for a second opinion. Everyone deserves care and to feel heard by the doctor . Sending you good vibes !
I got diagnosed with Lyme last spring and the lyme specialist I found has been giving me a supplement regime and then added doxycycline which he keeps increasing every month or so. That's really it at this point.
