Struggling with Thick Saliva and LPR Silent Reflux

Hi I have LPR silent reflux. I’m rlllllly struggling with thick saliva That’s so sticky it gets stuck in my throat making me gag and have a hard time exhaling. Plz plz help if u know how to resolve. I tried PPi omeprozole but it didn’t help. I am worse each month plz plz plz help plz

Are you dehydrated? I’ve had experiences like that when I get too dehydrated.

My saliva is so thick I can’t swallow it and can barely exhale it’s so uncomfortable 😥 bc it gets stuck

I tried famotidine but it didn’t help the saliva :(

Maybe ask your doc about famitodine? It does essentially the same job as omeprazole but I find it to work better

Omprozole has a recall so I stopped it and got into a gi dr and was on prontoix and they stopped it because didn’t work so now on esomprozole and it helps me a lot
