Looking for Low Impact Exercise Ideas

Exercise: what are your favorite low impact forms of exercise that don’t cause you to flare up as much? How do you stay motivated? I used to wait tables and that helped me move even when all I wanted to do is sleep, but now I have a job in my field (yay!) but it requires me to sit most of the day. Besides gaining weight I can tell I’m more stiff and sore. Most forms of exercise cause me to flare up and have insufferable brain for for days, but I want to be more active! Hellllp

I have a apartment size cycle bike and love it!! I sit down the whole time and ride it on a low level and when Iam feeling better I make it a little harder. I haven’t had any pain after using it. I try to ride it 4-5 times a week, it helps me a lot !!

Hi there! I really enjoy walking, either outdoors or on a treadmill. I also like workouts that use an exercise ball or a foam roller, or adaptive seated workouts, and options that focus on core work (planks, bridges, etc.). I've also found my options on the more limited side because a lot of choices cause more trouble than benefits. Someone recently suggested to me Pilates and yoga as options, and I haven't explored them yet.

i bought a mini trampoline (also called a rebounder) and like to do bounce workouts by this YouTube channel called Earth and Owl which, some of which are geared towards people with chronic illness and pain. i find bouncing to be pretty fun and it's much lower impact than running, and a really good cardio workout. sometimes I'm only able to do 5 min, other times i do more
