Trying a Low FODMAP Diet: My Journey and Tips

After talking with some of you, I’ve decided to try a low fodmap diet. If anyone wants to share tips or follow my journey, I’m happy to share what I find is and isn’t working. Starting out my concern is losing weight. I naturally don’t have much to spare. I’m excited as this is a real possibility for some relief of symptoms. I’m using a meal delivery service called Modify Health (it is surprisingly affordable) and a book called the Autoimmune Solution Cookbook as a reference. I prefer vegetarian dishes but I will be adding fish to supplement.

I’ve cut gluten and dairy out of my diet and it’s been a lifesaver! I’d say I’m about 75% better. While a new diet can be challenging it’s so worth it so I hope it works for you :)
