But to answer the op. I find medication was the best thing to help me. I'm on seroquel and it has really helped. I also did dbt which helped too. But mostly meds for me. I hope u find something that works

I think they call it hypomania. I get hypomania symptoms but it's never lead me to full blown mania. But I'm comparing myself to my bipolar 1 cousin there. Of course everyone is different ❤️

I don't actually believe this is entirely true. BPD is considered to be pretty similar to Bipolar Disorder but with more rapid cycling (like on an hour-hour basis rather than days-weeks), having extreme ups and downs over the course of a day. I did a quick search just to double check, but it seems BPD can in fact lead to mania-like episodes. As a person with BPD, this has also been my experience.
