A lot of people that I was friends with don't want to be my friend anymore because of my mental health and I kinda went crazy for awhile but now that I am out of it I miss my old friends. They just don't understand what I was going through and don't want to hear my explanation. What should I do?

A true friend would stick by your side and be understanding.

I'm sorry 😞 that hurts. Sad to say, they were probably confused and u can choose to work on those relationships again if u want, or find some friends who will be willing to at least try and be more helpful or understanding. I'm not saying those friends are/are not totally blameless or ignorant. I don't know them. But you do need some people in your life who aren't that ignorant. I'm sure they will have to learn eventually. Mental illness is everywhere and we all have to learn how to deal with it in a loving and mature way. 💕

Find more people who would be there to support you through it all

Then that means that they weren't your friends from the beginning
