Lost my empathy, am I a robot?

What do I do when I've lost all sense of empathy? I never thought too much about it till recently, but I've noticed more and more that I genuinely don't care how other people feel. For the most part, I just say what I've heard other people say, or what I think I'm supposed to say in a certain situation. I can't tell anymore if I'm just "reading a script" like that, or if I actually care and mean what I say. Thinking about this makes me feel less and less human every day.

you're cheering for nothing. I'm not fighting. I'm not trying. I'm just sitting and wallowing in my own self hatred and loneliness. Yes, I'm here, I'm alive, but to no end. I either mean nothing in people's lives, or I'm a major negative impact on them. I don't think the world or people would be better off if I was dead. I don't care. I honestly don't believe that my death would mean anything to anyone. But even if it did, I really don't care. The point of wishing I was dead is that nothing would matter anymore. I wouldn't exist, so nothing would he my problem.
