Struggling with Loss of Appetite and Nausea for 4 Years

I’ve been having this issue for 4 years of losing my appetite and being hella nauseous. At first it was just spells of nausea and now I don’t remember the last time I’ve had an appetite/not been nauseated. I’m constantly on the verge of vomiting and I could go DAYS without eating and not be hungry. I’ve lost so much weight and it’s impacting my day to day life very significantly. My body is famished but I have no desire to eat, and when I try I get so so so nauseous where I throw up. I’ve dealt with an eating disorder in the past [Anorexia] and this is nothing like it. During my eating disorder I had the STRONGEST desire to eat. But this is something completely different. I’ve been to doctors, taken blood tests, and it’s all been back normal. I have a feeling it’s bc of my mental disorders but I don’t know how to fix it and it’s kind of an emergency. It’s been so long with this that I don’t even feel like I’m fully conscious at times due to my body’s lack of performance. I’m a foodie and I miss eating so fuckin’ bad and it’s a fuckin’ awful experience when I try to eat now. This is legitimately torture and I don’t know what to do.

I've had spells like this, but nothing that lasted years. For me, the longer I go without eating, the more nauseous I feel. I went a week once without a single bite of food and just the thought of eating made me wanna puke. I quite literally just had to force myself to take small bites. Don't smell, don't think too long about it. I heated up a chicken nugget and just made myself swallow a bite. The more I forced down, the more the nausea eased off. But it took several days/weeks to feel normal again (as in a normal appetite). I also have no explanation for WHY this happens. But you're not alone.

My gf has this as a feature of her eating disorder :/ have you looked into gastroparesis? Or other problems with your stomach?

I’ve looked into it, but I think it may be stemmed from depression.
