Losing Friends to Illness: A Painful Experience

I'm so sorry my best friend moved to another state it's hard I don't have many friends none that hang out with me there's a. Great gastroparesis groups one my favorites it's gastroparesis day by day they are great especially off you have questions or need to vent and many have become closer friends there are many other gp groups too I'm so sorry you are struggling too I was hospitalized two months ago. No one other than family came to see me it's hard I'm still struggling with health issues from that hospital stay

Keep being yourself. If someone gives up on your friendship they aren't worthy of it to start with. Is it possible that life has just gotten busy for some of these people? I know that I only get to talk to my best friends about twice a year because they have kids and work now. I hope that you can find some good company soon! ❤️🤗❤️

I am so, so sorry you are going through that. Being chronically ill is impossible enough even in the best of circumstances. Losing your social support is a heartbreaking blow. I know it could never come close to in-person connection, but I hope you’re able to get some support here 💕
