Losing Friends to Chronic Illness

It sucks so bad to watch friendships and connections fade because you’re chronically ill/ experience chronic pain and can’t do what they want.

Yep, I have no friends at this point and I don't have family. I've been constantly disappointing people since my birth

I just got out of a relationship because my chronic illness got in the way. She didn't admit to it, but I think she got tired that she couldn't 'fix' me. I'm sorry you are feeling alone and isolated but please know that there are people out there who will want to be close to you without any expectations. Those real friends are looking for you just like you are looking for them.

I don't have any close friends besides family and my boyfriend. It really sucks, because many people can't hope to understand... so they disappear and don't even try to keep in touch. Sometimes the best friends to have are people with your conditions, because they're most likely the ones to be able to fathom what you might be going through. I hope you find those who will stick around. If your ever want to chat, feel free to message me

If they can't even try to understand you don't need them anyway.
