What anxiety medication has worked well for you? I've been on Buspirone for about 3 years and it seems to have stopped working. I find myself stressed out and anxious much more in the past few months. I'm considering changing but do not want SSRI. The sexual side effects writer, recently did a year & a half of Celexa for depression, when I came off, boom, the writing spark returned. But it was soon after, the anxiety starting spiraling. Any suggestions?

Some individuals have found relief from anxiety with medications such as Wellbutrin XL, gabapentin, Vraylar, clonidine, Vyvanse, sertraline, Bupropion xl, citalopram, Lexapro, Xanax, Zoloft, Paxil in coordination with Rexulti, Lorazepam, Cymbalta + Wellbutrin for depression related issues and Klonopin for anxiety. However, the effectiveness of these medications can vary greatly from person to person, and some may experience side effects. It's important to discuss any potential changes in medication with a healthcare provider.
