Hello. I've been on Dexilant for a decade it's also a ppi just a bit stronger. You could lose bone density over a long period. I take viactiv chews with vitamin D ,K and calcium to ensure I maintain bone health.

I've been on it for almost a year, and before that I had another med that was just like it and I was taking it since 2009. Since I was so young when I started it, I can't tell you exactly how it's changed me, however I don't have any side effects that I can tell.

I've been on it for about 8 years. I have been worried about side effects but my doctor told me I had a greater chance of esophageal cancer if I didn't manage my gerd. I have to get a biopsy every year. Acid can cause extensive damage and I feel like taking the medicine is a better gamble for me. I don't like having to take any medication, but I couldn't find any natural alternative that helped.
