Long-term effects of anesthesia after multiple surgeries

Hello! I’ve had 39 surgeries and haven’t gone more than a year without a surgery. I’m 25 and with each surgery I’ve noticed my energy is lower and lower post op and I am more fatigued long after. I think it might be due to the sheer amount of anesthesia I’ve had in my life. Does anyone have any ideas or know where I can begin to research the potential long term effects of anesthesia? It’s getting to a point where it’s heavily interfering with my daily life and ability to function.

I haven’t been under that many times maybe 10 but I have found my fatigue level gets worse each time I have a procedure of some sort.

Hey, I know very little about actual medicine, but I wanted to help, this website seemed to have some good information. https://www.asahq.org/madeforthismoment/anesthesia-101/effects-of-anesthesia/#:~:text=Postoperative%20delirium%20or%20cognitive%20dysfunction,learning%20problems%20in%20certain%20patients. Hope this helps!

Following to see what people say! I haven’t had 39 but I’ve been under anesthesia around 15 times and I’m 21 (all within the last three years) so I’m curious about what people have to say! So sorry you’re going through this, it sucks
