Struggling with Long Term Disability

It happened to me so I had to get a lawyer and they approved it after that

the disability process is absolute hell. they don’t care unless you have disability so extreme that you can’t even stand the possibility of working in a call center. on their eyes, if you’re healthy and aware enough to have the desire to apply for disability then you could find a functional job for yourself whether that’s on the phone or online. it’s frankly gross how hard you have to fight them. you really have to overemphasize how much each symptom affects daily life and how it affects your ability to hold down s job and perform tasks you would need in s job like typing, walking, talking, all that or they’re just like nah you’re not sick enough.

Omg me too! I’ve had to go through an appeals process and have people tell me that, even though I can’t breathe and have been to the ER 9 times in the past 6 months, I’m not sick enough. WTF!!

Me ✋ they barely respond too! I’m having trouble getting a pdf to them - email or fax. It doesnt make sense and last time they just threw out my application 😥
