Struggling with Long Covid and Work

Hi all, I have long Covid for about a year and a half now and have just become very ill about a week ago and have not been able to work. I have severe brain fog, nausea/vomiting, sweating and shaking episodes, dizziness, chest pain, and shortness of breath. My dr said to monitor and go to ER if it becomes worse. I am afraid that I will need to quit my job which I think is causing me more stress. Partly wanted to rant here but also wanted to see if anyone else has been through something like this or has advice

I have the same issues; I’m retired tho. Can you get Aflac or some other insurance for your job? Meditation and Sound therapy might help

Same thing had it twice 2020 and again in 2021 first time lost my taste and smell that was about it second time ended up with pneumonia pretty bad but still wasn’t horrible got better and January 1 of 2022 that’s when all the long Covid symptoms started the brain fog‘s been horrible I’ve had random nights where I’ve just been extremely nauseous and vomiting diarrhea as well it does seem to get worse with stress it seems I’ve also had weird food intolerances but sad to report no suggestions for improvement just knowing you’re not the only one makes it a little better

Thank you, I have not. I also have taken 3 tests this past week and am definitely negative but that was my first thought as well!

Sorry you're going thru this. Long covid is awful. Have you received c19 shots lately or been exposed to someone with c19? Is it possible you got re-infected?
