Lonely with a Chronic Illness

I don't know really what I'm doing here. I got diagnosed at the start of the pandemic and I was the only person in my community and family to have this condition that we know. I just am very lonely I guess in the sense that no one really gets that kind of idea of life shifting and things getting more uncontrollable as time goes on.

I am also recently diagnosed and feeling that isolation, it's hard not having anyone in person to relate to. I've found that online communities help a lot <3

❤️ it can be such a hard thing to have thrown at you all of a sudden, especially being the only one you know of. If you are on social media, I highly recommend looking for groups, pages, etc. Related to the tourettes community. Tourettes tik tok is really great. It helps a lot with that isolated feeling. You arent alone ❤️
