I've actually been doing fairly ok with gerd. I take omeprazole currently & the only issue I have is when taking Tylenol. My doctor is adding famotadine to help with that though. I am careful what I eat & avoid my trigger foods. For me, being mindful of what I eat is the most important thing.

I’m a coffee lover and GERD has definitely affected the things I eat and drink. I can’t drink alcohol with friends bc of it as well. I’ve started taking probiotics which has helped

Yes, GERD. can ruin my day. I'll take one bite of something and feel it sneak back up. Trying different meds to help and if they don't i have to get another endoscopy. The GERD can be a real issue when eating out,as i never know what is going to trigger a bad episode. Sometimes I'll forget to have some form of antacid and be in dire pain as my chest feel like its on fire and like im going to let all the food i just ate loose. 🙃 not sure if any of this is relatable, but this is just what i experience sometimes.
