Living with Fibromyalgia: Seeking Advice

I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for almost twenty years. I don’t take any meds for it because I either don’t know about them, or the thing I have tried haven’t worked. Pain killers are not a long term option for me—basically I just endure the pain. My fibro morphs as I age. I’d like to share the few things that I know and would love to hear of any meds or treatments that may have helped you. Thank you.

Hi there! I have AMPS and for me muscle relaxers really helped me! I only take them as needed so I don’t have to rely on them. I also love getting trigger point injection. I absolutely love getting this done every so often and last quite a bit! Also acupuncture is great to help you out and relax for a bit! Hope this helps!

AMPS is short for Amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome. A pain condition just like fibromyalgia. And ofc message me if you need anything 💗
