Living with Emetophobia: My Struggle to Overcome Fear of Vomiting

Hello - I suffer from emetophobia, I have since I was 6-7 years old, and am now close to 30. I was taught to always bottle things up and push forward, so my fear was never addressed until I started taking medication for panic attacks in 2017 and started therapy in 2021 (which I'm still in therapy). I feel so ashamed of myself for having this fear, for not being able to work, having difficulty going out in public. I don't get why I have this fear, I just want it to go away.
