Living with Disability: Supportive Parents?

Are any of you adults that live with your parents because you are on disability and it is affordable? How is your relationship with that person? Are they supportive?

I’m an adult living with family, I had issues with having to leave a terrible job & couldn’t pay rent on my rental, ended up moving back home. Definitely tough to go back but it’s generally ok. It’s tough to date though.

I had to move back to my parents after college because I was struggling with my mental health and job stability. It was ok. They adore me but I also think they can be a little too clingy.

Liam, I am home with my mother all the time. We do everything together. I’m not working yet but applied for a job. It is tough! I am sorry to hear how you are doing. Take it one day at a time and I like to listen to motivational things on YouTube. Maybe that would help you too. What are your coping skills?
