Living with Chronic Pain After an Accident

Hi I’m Ally I’ve had chronic migraines since I was 5. I was in a bad accident in November. Leaving me with a severe concussion, stomach problems, vision problems, and lots of chronic pain all over my body. I’ve felt the most alone that last 5 months because in my life the only people to understand is my mother and my boyfriend. I look normal but I’m going through so much and am in so much pain. But ppl think that I am normal and can just do everything I could do before my accident.

Hi Ally, I understand. I've had migranes since about 7, and chronic pain since 19 which left me with severe chronic pain and I think a tbi, Dr's never said anything but memory and cognition have been worse. It's hard having an invisible illness, especially when it's a sudden drastic change from what life used to be. I understand how lonely it can feel. Like nobody sees. Feel free to vent to me if need be. You're strong, keep going!
