"your so young and healthy!" all it would take is a single glance at my health chart to realize that is very much not true. legally disabled since I was 12 my good fellows. and the list has only grown.

God i hate that if im so healthy explain why I slept for literally 23 hours after going to a single 4 hour pride event.

When I was younger I heard this all the time and usually told it was in my head or if I just exercise and slept better it go away... Now I'm almost 43 and it's switched to "that's what happens when you start getting older"... My usual response is something like " then explain why it was there when I was 20"... And I usually get something to the effect of "well if it was that bad then it would have gotten treated then" so frustrating... I'll never get why people can't listen

I hate hearing that! Older people think that they have worse issues and we have nothing to complain about. And I agree with the above. People see a high-functioning person and assume there is nothing they don't see. It's a major pain in the ass.
