Does anyone have a bipolar diagnosis as well?

I use THC and CBD for my medication and thats because most drugs on the market have failed me in multiple ways. In the past I was on lithium and it stopped episodes but I had a lot of side effects. Ive never taken any stimulants like adderal because it will make bipolar worse so thats why I also use THC. It wont ever help as much as something like a real stimulant but it helps me feel like everything is going at the right speed and I can focus. Ive taken over 25 medications and none of them worked well enough and what helped me (other than incorporating weed) was proactive ADHD management. You can look on youtube How to ADHD and there is a whole catalogue of things you can learn about your brain and how to better help yourself. I know its not an idea to bring to your doctor but rearranging your life to work with your neurology can make a huge difference. Especially in your own home. Hope that second bit is useful and you find sone medicine that works for you. Bipolar and ADHD is really hard sometimes.

Are you on medication for both? What are they and have they worked for you? I was just recently diagnosed with adhd but they don’t want to give me stimulants. No other medications have helped though, I’m at a loss.

Yup and I feel my presentation of bipolar can look a little different because of ADHD. And vice versa. Took a while to sort out.
