My name is Madi. I have had epilepsy since 2015. I was prescribed Keppra in 2015 and after I had my daughter, I started getting bad anxiety. In the beginning of 2020 I started taking Limictal with my Keppra. I got pregnant in the ending of 2020 and had my son may 2021. I would like to know everyone else's experience with Limictal & how long you've been on it!

I’ve been on lamictal twice now! This is my second time. I have to switch up medicine periodically because my body gets used to it. I think it is wonderful for helping with my depression. It can really give me that extra push to get out of bed and do that dishes you know? Or even just shower. I still struggle sometimes don’t get me wrong but I’m working on it!

I think lamictal has worked for me, my body gets used to it quickly I think because I have to increase my dosage about every year. I get a lot of the side effects from it so I have to take another pill so I can take this pill. It’s different for everyone though.

We’re you able to continue medication while pregnant?

I’ve been on lamictal for close to a year. I haven’t had any side effects to this point but it wasn’t great at seizure control and needed to add two additional medications.
