for me, lexapro made it near impossible to sleep. my dr initially recommended i take it at night before bed, but i would be wide awake, even if i was super tired. i ended up switching to mornings and it made me feel much better . the only thing is, for me, once i take it, i have to wait a couple hours before i’ll be able to sleep. so don’t plan on taking it then going right back to sleep

If your dose is once a day, I would always take it at night right before you go to bed. That way you wake up, your medicine has had time to kick in, and you're ready to go.
