i didn't take medication for very long, but it does take a couple weeks for relief to set in. continue taking it for at least a month or two as indicated and if you sense that it's not helpful, talk to your psychiatrist about dosage or different medication. what you eat is also important, so take into consideration a couple things like foods that help with serotonin increase such as salmon, nuts, spinach, etc
