I'm on Lexapro and I'm receiving CBT Therapy. Should I expect a pronounced improvement in my GAD symptoms sooner than later?

Thank you! What meds do you take for GAD? I'm on 2mg Klonopin 3x a day but it doesn't do much at all.

It really depends on how much you put into it. Therapy takes work on your part and taking the learned concepts and using them daily.

I also suff from GAD and I think that therapy can ease the symptoms but honestly for me it didn't improved as much as I thought it would. Hope you will see a bigger improvement soon! Be patient.

It depends on you, your condition, your therapist, your medical treatment and on so many other factors. It took me no less than 3 weeks with meds+CBT to see any change
