@Michel yes I always look online for side effects and reviews. The reviews help give me some insight.

I take my meds bottles with me to my appointments and ask questions about side effects on the meds and return home and look online for more information on the meds

I've never had a reprieve from the fatigue, hair falling out, brittle nails, etc even though my tsh is normal from taking levothyroxine. Hopefully that isn't the case for you. The medication is supposed to stabilizer your thyroid within 6 weeks is taking it.

Contact The doctor tell them your experience on the meds I’m sure sure the doctor will give you more directions on what to do

Be sure to have your antibodies checked. If you have Hashimoto's you will need to be check more frequent. Even still it took about 6mnths to a year after 1st diagnosis(and finding docs that would finally listen) for me to feel better. I felt off for so long I had forgotten what "normal" was supposed to feel like.
@WickietheShihtzMom Glad you're feeling better, it's a long journey i see. I had an appointment two weeks ago and my doseage of levothyroxine has been increased to 50mg. I wish I would have tested my antibodies to see if it's Hashimotos, I'm just now learning about the connection between the two. The dose adjustment has me experiencing weird dreams, last week feelings of sadness, and still fatigue 😩 I'm starting to feel better emotionally but still tired

thank you❤️ I'm hoping that maybe I can get an increase soon and that I will be on the road to feeling better but it sounds like It's going to be journey 😩 thanks again ❤️
@Fairydreamer I would also so, definitely keep a journal of EVERYTHING. symptoms, emotions, weird feelings, highs ans lows from everyday...and I mean EVERY day. You document on your end helps the doc as well

I've been on it since 2005, and usually you won't feel any difference until about 6 months, that's usually when they check to see how the medication is working. They'll start you out on the lowest does at first then slowly raise it as needed. I remember in the beginning when I found out it was stressful, but eventually your doctor will get you to where you need to be, and you'll feel so much better just hang in there. ❤️
