I've had ovarian cysts come and go since I was 15 (28 years). I currently have 3, the largest is 4cm. The treatment for cysts smaller than 5cm is usually birth control pills. If it's over 5cm then they typically will talk to you about possibly surgically removal. In my case I can't take birth control pills anymore, so I just have to deal with it.
