Just found out I have a 2cm "minimally complicated left ovarian cyst." Of course I cannot get into the doctor's to discuss it for over a month. Any thoughts on its seriousness or treatments? (even based on. your own experience).

I've had ovarian cysts come and go since I was 15 (28 years). I currently have 3, the largest is 4cm. The treatment for cysts smaller than 5cm is usually birth control pills. If it's over 5cm then they typically will talk to you about possibly surgically removal. In my case I can't take birth control pills anymore, so I just have to deal with it. I hope this helps you, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. I hope you feel better soon.

@Raquel226 Thank you! I have at least 4 fibroid on my uterus as well. Those are 4-5cm. I believe I cannot take birth control pills either. They did the ultrasound because of lots of pain & heavy bleeding.
