Left Abdominal Pain: Need Advice

Has anyone else ever had left pain right under the ribcage and where the abdomen connect? (trying my best to describe where it hurts) I can literally feel gas moving all throughout my belly. Is this pain normal or do I need to make a doctor's appointment? (it's hard to take off so much time from work with all these different symptoms 😫) coming to y'all for advice first ❤

I often have this pain! Though I don’t know if it’s normal or not. If you are worried and cannot get an appointment I would suggest calling and getting a nurses advice over the phone

Yes I used to have this pain frequently! My doctor referred me to a GI doctor and had me start taking fiber capsules and peppermint oil over the counter. Sounds like a strange combination but it helped the pain a lot!

If you mix some baking soda with water and drink it. It helps to pass gas

Talked to my gastrointestinal Dr. This morning. She said sounds like an IBS flare up. She said I'm in no danger and I just need to eat a bland diet until I can calm my stomach down. Now just to tell my anxiety that I'm okay 😥 because she also said the stress and anxiety makes digestion worse. I'm a very sad bean right now 😞
