Struggling with Laundry Before Surgery

Hey Alike community, I have a confession. It's so embarrassing to me but I need help. I'm going to be facing surgery in a month so I need to fix this. I struggle so hard to do laundry. Carrying it is difficult, hanging it is difficult, and keeping up with it is difficult. Because of this, I have a pile of dirty laundry that's basically my whole wardrobe. I don't really know what to do anymore. I've purged plenty of times and I have clothes I'd like to donate too but they're dirty. I refuse to donate dirty clothes. I'm just so exhausted but I won't be able to do laundry at all after my surgery, it could take 3 months until I'm able again. Please anyone, please help me. I need some motivation, support, advice, or something.

Hey.. same here. Cleaning is difficult and it is hard for people to understand that the simplicities of life can be painful for us with this condition. I hope surgery goes or went well! I am getting surgery in less than 2 weeks!

I'm in my 3rd week of recovery, it's rough. The pain medications made my migranes worse on top of it

Hello...I was wondering where you live because I wouldn't mind at all helping any way I can. Also, do you attend a local church?

East Coast, close to FL/GA border. I don't go to church. I can't drive and church really upsets me because of the hypocrisy in my local churches. Only one church around here is welcoming and understanding.

That sounds like myself… I always have a huge pile of laundry that I don’t have the power handle. Do you have any friend, relative or a neighbour that can help you carry to laundry to a local laundromat? You can also check if they offer a service to pick up the laundry from your place

A friend convinced me to let him help me.. I feel so guilty. I'm in a financial pinch right now and it's really frustrating. I will not be able to get this surgery if I can't get it before my deductible rolls over. We won't be meeting the deductible next year. An emergency visit and a surgery met the deductible and we're still recovering from that. I can't drive either 😓 oh man this is stressful thinking about it
