Lamotrigine is a mood stabilizer that has been used by some individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and has shown positive results in stabilizing moods and reducing mood swings. However, everyone's experience with medications can be different, so it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new medication.

I take Lamotrigine and it has little to no side effects for me besides dizziness & disorientation if you don't take it before bedtime. I have BPD and it fends off larger episodes but it won't be a magic fix for everyday struggles (again, just my experience)

lamictal is amazing! definitely worth trying. i take it for bipolar disorder but it also helped a bit with my ocd as well so it's been quite helpful

I've been on lamotrigine for going on 3 years now... They originally added it on to my clonidine and duloxetine to help with sleep since it's a blood pressure med and I was having really bad graphic nightmares and insomnia. I can't say by itself, but it definitely helped me with sleep once I started on it.
