Lamictal Side Effects: Anyone Else Experienced This?

I've been on lamictal for a little over a week. I've stopped taking because the side effects were causing more issues. Most recently I've developed a yeast infection. My first week on the medication was horrible. I was nonstop crying. My dreams became so realistic that I was confused about if I was actually awake or not. has anyone else hand similar experiences?

I don’t mind Lamictal at all; it helps me. But each person is different. Talk to the doctor who prescribed it and tell them about it. Maybe there’s something else they can have you try.

That’s hard when meds aren’t working out for you. I’m on lexapro and lamicdal and luckily I don’t have any negative side effects except for absolutely wild vivid and sometimes lucid dreams, which can be interesting or annoying.

I have not had this experience with this particular medication, but I had something similar when I was on Abilify. I got off faster than a kid on energy drinks… it was miserable. But no, never with Lamictal. Some medications just don’t click I think…

i had a similar experience when i tried latuda for a month:// it was like clockwork, id wake up at 10am, try not to cry all day, 8pm exactly start crying until falling asleep at 10pm, rinse and repeat. it was really stressful, so i relate:(
