Struggling with a Lack of Empathy

Yeah. Honestly there's maybe 3 people i know that i care about genuinely, and for those 3 people i care WAY too much to the point where I've tried to hurt other people to "help" them. And with other people esp if I dunno them or disagree heavily on a topic I pretty much don't care about them at all.

It depends on the situation and person for me. Like, maybe deep down I hate the person, but I could still feel empathy if I know that there are going through something that is not their fault

Yes this is normal with BPD. Alot of the times people who have BPD see black and white. And lack of empathy is also a symptom
