I am having so much pain in my knee and lower back I’m having trouble walking? Any advice? I see a physical therapist next week but I don’t know if I should try to get a steroid shot or something else to help with pain until then…

Ever thought of massage therapy? Maybe see if your physical therapist/ doctor can recommend a good myofascial release therapist

"Radiating pain from lower back to thighs and knees could be sciatica. You may have better luck with an NSAID like Advil or Aleve as they are anti-inflammatory. There are a lot of topical creams OTC you could get at your local pharmacy such as homeopathic arnica, lidocaine, or Voltaren. Ice or heat can also help. If you have a bath tub soaking in some Epsom salts may ease the pain a bit. Gently rub and stretch the area. If these don't work, you may need something stronger from prescription, like a muscle relaxant. You can go to an urgent care and tell them your issues so they can get a better idea of what you need."
