Need advice for knee and lower back pain

I am having so much pain in my knee and lower back I’m having trouble walking? Any advice? I see a physical therapist next week but I don’t know if I should try to get a steroid shot or something else to help with pain until then…

Ever thought of massage therapy? Maybe see if your physical therapist/ doctor can recommend a good myofascial release therapist

I myself have a bad knee I feel what helps is chiropractor, essential oils peppermint oils helps pain, heat and ice packs at times, massage the knee, work outs and good stretches.
