I'm going to kick this iron deficiency in the butt... does anyone have any food suggestions other than the basic veggies like spinach and kale. (God knows my body is filled with those) šŸ˜… And meal ideas, for like work and lunch?

Try to cook cow liver with onions on the stove it’s yummy! If you prefer vegetarian food you can eat soybeans with tofu, fried it with soy sauce and sesame oil it’s super easy to make

I do know certain meats help me, mostly steak, chicken, and ribs. I usually just take iron supplements though

I've never commented or posted on here, but I've gotten a notification f for your post 4 times today so I'll give my 2 cents lol! The only other foods that I know of that are high in iron is liver (I know beef for sure, not sure if other types are super high in iron like beef), pumpkin seeds, and popcorn! Natural, hand popped popcorn is best and a very nice treat/ snack; unbuttered of course is best. I also found a REALLY good liquid iron that builds iron quickly, doesn't bother my IBSC or my ulcerative colitis. It's made by Floradix and I get it from amazon. I hope that helps at least a little! Good luck!

Steak! Cow meat is very high in iron. Combine that with a high vitamin c food like broccoli or strawberries to help with absorption
