Has anyone tried Ketamine for depression?

Has anyone tried Ketamine? I know insurance won't pay for it, but I genuinely think it might help me.

I found it helpful to pull me out of a deep depression. It doesn't do anything for mania. I only did it once, IM, because my psychiatrist was not happy I did it and didn't want me to continue the series. She said people get hooked on it and need it continually. It makes you disassociate and she's seen it ruin people's lives and careers. Personally I think if it's an occasional or one time thing it can be helpful. Being bipolar it can really make you trip hard.
