Considering Ketamine for Borderline Personality Disorder: Need Advice

Has any one been on Ketamine for borderline personality disorder my psychiatrist suggested it but I’m scared to try it he said in his department only 50 people are taking it which scares me too

I just have a very very sensitive reaction to medications they said I’d have to go in the doctors office and they’d do it like every 2 or 1 weeks but I don’t wanna feel like a guinea pig also I’m afraid it’s like Xanax and I’m afraid I’ll lose more of myself I saw there’s a lot of scary side effects:( did you get any side affects?

I was on ketamine for treatment resistant depression, and it helped a lot. The actual treatment took a bit of getting used to, but after the first few treatments I knew what to expect, and I started seeing results fairly quickly. I wish I could have afforded to stay on it. Worked better than any of the dozen+ pharmaceutical antidepressants I’ve been on.
