Yes! If I’m sick or it’s my period week- any thing that causes more inflammation in my body- my joint pain is so much worse

Yes, joints and muscles both! I’ve had the flu for a week, it will probably take another 3 days or so for my body to fully recover even though I’ve been symptom-free for 2 days. I agree with the previous comment about inflammation, any increase of inflammation in the body can cause EDS bodies to feel greater stress. I tend to struggle with gastroparesis flares when I’m sick as well. Focus on decreasing the inflammation as much as possible by consuming anti-inflammatory foods. Antihistamines can help, but bendy bodies tend to have a love/hate relationship with those. Ice packs for 20min at least twice a day on my most painful areas helps me the most.
