Struggling to Maintain a Job with Health Issues

Good morning! I'm attempting to find others that are in the same situation as I am. Maintaining a job has been so difficult with my health the way it is. Does anyone have any advice?

I tried for years. Just make sure your boss knows your limits and is willing to work with you. If not, find one who will. You may have to change what you do. When I could still work, I had to switch from teaching field paleontology to cashier at a rock shop. Keep trying until you can't do anything anymore.🤗

Working from home is great. Jobs that don't start early and you can work less then 8 hours

I decided to work for myself from home with some of the skills I have, with a huge pay cut, and am now going back to school for something I could also do from home (web development) in future if needed. No advice, just understanding of what it’s like.

I also work for myself because of my conditions. I needed the flexibility of self employment. I know not everyone has the opportunity or ability to be self employed, but it’s certainly something to consider. What are some ways you can utilize your skills independently?
