I'm so stressed. I haven't found a job yet for when my contract is up. I feel like going to school was a waste of time. I don't know what to do.

I had an experience kind of like this when I was 17. I wanted to live a dorm and go to school and make a life for myself away from my abusive family. Everyone who was supposed to support me was judging me - adult professionals. I became so depressed I stopped showing up to class and doing my work. I was going for an art degree but when I really thought about it I didn't know what I'd do after obtaining it so it felt like a waist. I tried again the 2nd semester and still failed so I had to drop out because it messed up my scholarship. I wanted a job so I didn't have to depend on my abusers to take care of me but didn't have the motivation. Later on in life I got a few jobs. What I normally do is search online " jobs hiring in (your area) and I look for a job. Even if it was a job I didn't like I applied because when you find something better you can always quit. I understand if you're tying to find jobs that go with your degree but can't. A tip I learned when I was getting help in collage was bother the he'll out of whoever you applied for. Email and call them regarding your application, tell them you want to know the status of your application. This let's them know you're serious about it so they don't want to hire someone else. Google docs has good templates for resumes.
I don't know in what field you're working so can't give specific advice but making a plan usually helps with anxiety in situations like this. Make it super specific. Not "find a job" but like "research the best resume ideas" "write a resume" "apply to 2 positions a day" etc. Also from experience i know that applying through websites like indeed or LinkedIn is way less successful than emailing someone from company directly.
