I have an interview tomorrow morning and I'm very anxious about it. My mom told me I'd be fine if I just stayed quiet and answered their questions kindly. The thought of making eye contact and keeping my anxiety at bay in front of a potential future employer is nerve-wracking. I'm trying to sleep because the interview is early in the morning, but I don't know if I can. words of encouragement would be appreciated.

You've got this! Most employers are going to expect nervous interviewees, so as long as you remain professional, you're gonna ace it! I found it helpful to rehearse my answers to standard questions and bring a rehearsed question to ask to show my interest in the job/company. If you're worried about eye contact, try focusing in on eyebrows or just under the eyes, it is very hard to tell the difference. I hope you get the job and best of luck!
