Choosing Between IUD and Implant for Birth Control

I'm thinking of getting an IUD or Implant, but I don't know what I should do. With pills, bleeding has become very light and I know that implant would have alot of spotting without it getting better, and the IUD has spotting too but it gets better. With IUD I'm scared of the pain, getting it removed once the time comes, and honestly it just sounds super painful but It's also something I'm considering With implant i know there's a chance my body won't accept it, it's basically being cut open and having it shoved in and taking it out it basically the same. I just don't want to feel it under my skin. I want a leave it and forget it type birthcontrol, but I have no idea what to choose lol.

The only leave it and forget it type that doesn’t keep a foreign object in your body and is progestin only is the depo provera shot. Some do well on it, others don’t. Personally I loved it, hated the implant and am ineligible for IUD.

I live like 40 mins away from my gyno and past few times I've had to uber as my parents never taught me to drive, and I pay for my copay and everything so a shot is a no lol. Do you think an iud is a better option than the implant?
