Sometimes when I get really stressed it suddenly goes away completely and I feel nothing and think things like "why would I care about this. I don't care about anything" then it goes away and my stress comes back and I feel bad. Is that disassociation or something else?

tension in the mind is when one part of your mind is like "oh god i'm gonna fail, look stupid, get hurt" and the other is like "why are you worrying, nothing bad will happen". but the conflict between the two makes the stress worse. instead of trying to conquer your anxiety don't talk to yourself judgmentally, talk more like a coach, guiding yourself. instead of "it's not that big of a deal, why do you care",, say "i know it's hard but you're ok as long as you tried ur best". acknowledge your difficulties and how you've gotten through this before
