Iron Pills for Anemia: Relief Timeframe and Dosage

For those with anemia, how long did it take to feel some relief once you started iron pills? How often do you take them?

i was iron 65mg/ferrous sulfate 325mg three times daily for a year and a half until my level came up

I take feosol 65/325. I ststred daily. Taken with high dose VitC. Take B12 @ night. That combo helped absorb the iron. Tested 2 months later, levels going up. Started to feel better then too. I now take iron every other day. My iron is in the low normal range. I'm about 6 mo ths in from the start & I was extremely low. Borderline e non existing iron (possibly needed transfusions).
