Iron Infusions: Need Advice

My Doctor says I'm going to need "Iron infusions". Does anyone have experience with this? isn't this basically a blood transfusion?

I have had iron transfusions. They aren't bad. Just make sure you Eat a good meal before or you'll be super sick.

Yes. I have infusions. I have a problem with my liver, so all oral needs/ vitamins do not get absorbed very well.

Did you feel shortness of breathe- irregular heartbeats? I’ve been dealing with All the symptoms. I’ve been on oral 325mg 3 times a day. I go get labs April 4th-

Yes the doctor says my oral absorption is extremely poor, over six months I've had no improvement.

I’ve had blood transfusion but never iron transfusion. Did you try taking 325mg iron pills before?
