I can’t afford to get blood transfusions to increase my iron, and iron pills don’t work for me, what should I do?

I personally take iron supplements. You can find those easily anywhere

I understand this will not help you on a quick basis nor do I think this alone will fix your problem but something to remember is that there are certain foods you can keep consistently in your diet to ensure iron integration.

have you considered iron infusions? its cheaper than blood tranfusions from what ive been told and its worked for me so far, its just very hard on your veins/very draining but honestly i don't think blood is much different imo

I have also had almost no luck with iron pills, even prescription strength. I actually start iron infusions on Monday, so I can report back if that helps. Hopefully that could be something that works out for you!

I've had iron infusions because the iron pills don't work and normally the iron infusions are a waste of my time because they don't work for me either
