Introducing Myself to the Community

My thyroid always checked out fine then I started having symptoms like having trouble swallowing and my hair falling out and my skin got so dry it was breaking open and it was burning like I had a bunch of paper cuts. Not saying that you have a thyroid problem just that turned out to be a part of mine

My thyroid checked out fine, but they still want me on daily iron so i have energy and arent dizzy and near fainting during the day

Hi it's nice to meet you. I had the same problems and now they have finally gotten the periods regulated and I had my thyroid removed which had cancer, so they thought that may have been what was causing the iron to be low. Still have low iron and my hematologist has me taking iron every other day which has made me feel better and made my iron go up some. Not saying change anything

Honestly they havent figured anything out other than my diet and extremely irregular and heavy menstruation. I take iron daily and have to make sure i eat better foods or else i get dizzy and need a cane or to sleep
